Steven J. Pozycki, Chairman and CEO, of SJP Properties, has announced the formation of SJP Residential Properties. The new company will be led by industry veteran Allen F. Goldman who will serve as president. SJP Residential Properties will focus on developing luxury rental and for-sale residential developments in the New York City , Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey metropolitan area. The Company will be based at SJP's headquarters in Parsippany , New Jersey .
Steven J. Pozycki stated, "The formation of SJP Residential Properties is a natural evolution of the platform, expertise and philosophy of SJP Properties. Our objective is to create the same tradition of excellence we have become known for in the Class A office market in the high-end luxury residential market. We are very proud to appoint Allen to lead this endeavor, as he is one of the most highly regarded residential developers in the region and I am confident he will create an outstanding new legacy for SJP in residential development."
Allen F. Goldman joins SJP from The Applied Companies, where he spent 13 years developing a number of highly acclaimed multi-family projects, including The Shipyard in Hoboken , Port Liberté in Jersey City , The Essex and Sussex in Spring Lake , Portside Towers in Jersey City and The Palisades in Fort Lee . He began his career at Exxon Research and Engineering Company and later served as assistant to the president at Allied Chemical Company. Mr. Goldman earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York and his MBA from New York University . He currently resides in Short Hills, New Jersey .
